Monkey Puzzle Angel Newsletter May 2019 Office News Dear Parents, We would like to start this Newsletter with a big Thank you to all of you for your support and encouragement during the changes within the management team. We will be welcoming Katherine into the management team in June we are looking forward to introducing her to all our wonderful families. We have finally seen some sun this month and we welcomed it with open arms. This year we have made the decision to provide a nursery sun cream for all the children. If you haven’t signed a permission sheet, please seek out someone in your child’s room to do so. We will still be asking you to provide a sun hat so please bring one to be left at nursery labelled with your child’s name. As you know the nursery is very busy which means the buggy store is filling up. We are pleased to announce that the store will soon be under renovation. This will happen over the coming months, but we will keep you posted on a specific date. The renovation will take place from Friday until Sunday which will mean the buggy store will be closed on the Friday. You are more than welcome to bring your buggy on this day but please be aware that it will not be under the shelter. Thank you for your co-operation in advance. We will have our penultimate inset day of the Year on Friday 7th June- The nursery will be closed on this day for staff training. Our Agenda will cover: ‘The importance of Gender-Neutral Play in Early Years’, ‘Natural Born Learners’, ‘Outdoor Play and Forest Schooling, ‘How to carry and handle young children and babies’ and ‘The four stages of attention Buckets- building children’s attention spans’. If you have any further suggestions, please let us know. We will also be celebrating Father’s Day this month with our annual Father’s Day BBQ. This year our BBQ will be held on Thursday 6th June between 4.30-6pm. Please keep an eye out for a follow up email detailing our planned activities. Please could we remind all parents to shut the doors and gates between rooms and ensure that the child lock is put on once closed. We would also like to remind you not to let anyone into the front door of the nursery. Please advise them to ring the buzzer and wait for someone to greet them.
