Exciting news!!

In line with our Cultural Capital project, we took the preschoolers to a concert, on Friday the 5th of April. It was organised by the Bach to Baby Company; these concerts are an innovative series designed for children and their families where Miaomiao, the founder, performs with internationally renowned guest artists. This time she performed for nearly an hour just for us, covering different great musicians, from Bach to Chopin, to Shostakovich. The children were free to explore the room, to express themselves through movements and sounds. It was incredible to see them enjoying some classical pieces they never listened to before. Studies show the positive effects of live classical music on children, whose brains are like little sponges at this stage.

The adventure started early in the afternoon when we walked all the way to the bus stop, we patiently waited for the bus N.4 and hopped on for a few stops. We played “I spy with my little eyes” while looking through the windows. We then hopped off and reached the Church were some of our friends and their families were already waiting. We took photos to celebrate the outing and created so many new memories!! We will definitely join another concert soon!!! We hope the photos will show how much fun we had!!!
