Today, we celebrated Martin Luther King Day at Monkey Puzzle Angel, marking his birthday on the third Monday of January each year and commemorating his life and achievements.
Our Discoverers in the Baby Room decorated their own crowns. They used resources such as PVA glue and glitter and enjoyed sprinkling the coloured glitter of their choice onto their very unique crowns. What a fantastic way to celebrate such an inspirational king.
Our Explorers celebrated Martin Luther King’s life by using coloured play dough to make models and setting their creativity free by doing gluing and sticking using a wide range of exciting resources.
The Pre Schoolers created some artworks made of colourful handprints which represent equality, freedom and diversity. Beyond that, they explored different coloured play dough.
