We went to the farm!!!! Finally, Spring is here and we got the opportunity to visit the local farm, here in Islington.

As part of a room project to encourage positive reinforcement, the toddlers have been collecting pompoms in a special jar. It is a strategy that involves giving a child a pom-pom whenever they do something positive. The pom-poms are collected and when the jar is full, the children earn the previously agreed reward. So we went to the farm

It was such a great a morning; we walked to the bus stop and waited for bus N43. We then walked to the farm and started exploring it after some yummy snack. We all walked together as a group, looking at the animals, singing songs trying to catch the animals’ attention. We have been fascinated especially by a breed of hen, with so many feathers around their eyes that they couldn’t see anything!!! How funny!!!

Look at our trip way for us to inspire children interest’s in stories and literacy.
