The children and staff dressed up in their best green outfits to celebrate St Patricks Day 2021. We had so much fun with our St Patrick’s day themed activities! In the morning, Lauren set out an amazing sensory activity with green play dough and orange, white and green rice, resembling the Irish flag. She then sat with the children and read an Irish story called ‘The Story of St. Patrick’. The children thoroughly enjoyed getting messy and listening to this magical story. Whilst learning about different cultures in a fun way, this activity aimed to incorporate the ‘British Cultures’ into the children’s learning.
