Assistant Manager

My name is Andreia. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal. I have lived in London for 7 years before moving to Brazil where I spent over 4 years. Once back to London, almost 8yrs ago to be closer to my family whom I recharged my energies from, I found MP Family. They truly caught my passion for childcare. I started as a deputy room leader but growing into a room leader position within a couple of weeks. Now my opportunity came as an assistant manager where I am confident that all my experience and knowledge will support not only the children that attend this nursery but also be an essential part of this growing rich childcare environment.

I have always been surrounded by children as I have 5 sister myself. So, having only one child of mine was almost a nightmare! I am now a mother of 3 (13, 3 and 1yr old). Definitely, I am growing my very own big family. I have enjoyed many different areas of childcare including being an English teacher in Brazil for over the time I lived there, a nursery setting SENCo for almost 3 yrs, I have run my own afterschool scheme and holiday club for almost 4 yrs, and coordinated holiday camps back home. I enjoy having the opportunity to see and teach the uniqueness of each child, to laugh on a daily basis, and to be a source for someone’s success.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Over 20 years' experience in childcare
• NVQ3 Certificate in childcare
• CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education
• Level 5 Management in Early Years - Completing
• Paediatric First Aid Trained
