Room Leader

Hi I’m Deborah, I have lived in London my whole life. I’m still very in touch with my Congolese roots, which makes me love how multicultural London is. I’ve enjoyed my jobs that revolve around children. My first job was at Hamley’s toy store during Christmas, and I loved seeing all the excited children. In the past year I’ve been working in Early Years and I’ve loved meeting different children.

I love helping children learn through songs and meeting their expressed needs. When I go to work I look forward to seeing the children; especially on Mondays, because I haven’t seen them the whole weekend, I get really excited and want to find out what they were up to.

On my spare time, I enjoy doing some baking and cooking, and I also like to keep active by swimming.

• Experience in different childcare settings
• Level 6 Early Years Education BA Degree
• Completed different Early Years courses, including In the Moment Learning
• Peadiatric First Aider
• Food Hygiene L2
