Nursery Practitioner

Hi, I’m Jean! I’m originally from Scotland and moved to London to continue my studies a few years ago. I’m naturally very creative which is why I wanted to move to London to enjoy all of the creative opportunities here. I love working with children as there is the chance to do new things with them each day. It’s incredible seeing children grow in big and small moments. I especially enjoy supporting children’s development through expressive arts and design as whilst learning creatively children have the opportunity to develop all areas of their learning.

In my spare time I love going to the cinema, particularly the open air cinema. I’ve recently started roller skating which is now one of my favourite ways to exercise! I also enjoy knitting and sewing in my free time and have been learning to make tiny quilts. I also love exploring London more and going for walks down the Canal.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Finishing Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
• Experience as Early Years Art Educator
• Extensive experience in various Early Years settings
• Volunteer at Girl Guiding for over 10 years
• Safeguarding Training
